Tech Symposium Africa 2026 Announced for October
HTC announces the Tech Symposium Africa 2026, bringing together policymakers, technologists, and innovators from across the continent for three days of dialogue and collaboration.
HTC Africa is proud to announce that the Tech Symposium Africa 2026 will take place from 14–16 October 2026 in Abuja, Nigeria. This year's edition — the largest since the Symposium's inception — will convene over 1,000 delegates including heads of state, technology ministers, innovation leaders, researchers, and entrepreneurs from across the continent and the global technology community.
The 2026 theme, "Building Africa's Digital Architecture: From Policy to Practice", reflects the critical transition moment the continent faces as AI regulation, digital infrastructure investment, and technology workforce development converge into a coherent continental agenda.
What to Expect
Three days of ministerial roundtables, keynote addresses, policy hackathons, startup showcases, and research presentations will be complemented by the inaugural HTC Africa Technology Awards, recognising outstanding contributions to the continent's digital transformation.
